I have been collecting bits and pieces of antique fabric, trims and embellishments for the past 50 years. Back in the 80’s and 90’s it was fairly easy to find these exquisite handmade pieces taken from what must have been fabulous ball gowns. These pieces of history set my imagination dancing, wondering who wore this?…at what ball did this piece of beauty twirl?….if this piece could talk, what would it say?

I really have to catch myself from hoarding these pieces because it’s very difficult to find them anymore and if I do come upon a beaded piece of embroidery, it is so very expensive. And then I had a vision and inspiration to create faerie thrones that would showcase these bits of history. So much fun to create and a fun way to share the story and vibrations these treasures hold.
Here are photos of 5 of the thrones that I’ve just created and will soon be available in my “Shop Originals” Store https://marilynradzat.net/shop/
I love to place little thrones in corners of my home, enticing a fae to sit for a while.
